TEACHING. LEARNING. COMMUNICATION. COLLABORATION.
Education is a lifelong pursuit. Or at least it should be. Education changes all of our lives most of the time, and improves the way we work together. That makes Teaching and Learning very important work! The best education needs to be available to all learners. And we want to help make the business of Education, of teaching and learning, easier and more immediately effective.
As a software company we apply technology to find solutions — we developed BlenderLearn. We hear from Educators about remote learning, easy access to content, the need to accelerate learning to fill instructional gaps caused by COVID-19, social emotional learning, and the urgency of addressing career and college readiness.
BlenderLearn is our ecosystem of education applications and tools designed to help Districts, Schools, and Educators improve teaching and learning through personalization. BlenderLearn integrates and maximizes student data; organizes content, curriculum and resources; and provides robust, easy-to-use tools to help Educators make the right instructional choices, and share best practices.
K - 12
BlenderLearn is designed to improve student outcomes and ease teacher workloads by addressing the rigors of standards-based curriculum, incorporating Social Emotional Learning programs, performance tracking, and housing the District’s Curriculum & vetted Resources.
Colleges and Universities face their own challenges. With Blender Learn you can provide virtual access to courses, increase student engagement and collaboration, and easy to use organizational tools for content, textbooks, guidance scheduling, and assessment tracking.
By combining Learner Profiles, Content Management, Communities and a robust Learning Management, the Blender Learning Center provides a full corporate training package. Blender identifies who needs training, tracks their learning path, and
can relate that to job performance measures.
Continuous development presents a challenge to schools, corporations, and governments of all sizes. BlenderLearn presents a solution that can be tailored to any age, education level, or job description. The User Profile starts the process with an accurate portrait of potential, education, experience and interests. The system then connects the user to the content, courses, and interest groups that will move them forward.
Blender User Profiles
User Profiles provide a data-rich, multi-purpose dashboard with a Learner Profile to every user. Learner Profiles support personalized learning, student agency, Social Emotional Learning, and Career & College readiness programs.
Virtual Learning Center
Using content or curriculum imported to or created in the CMS, instructors can build courses, register users, give assignments, publish relevant resources, administer surveys and assessments, hold classes, and grade and certify course completion.
Blender’s CMS incorporates a robust and meta-tagged Content Library, a feature-rich Course Catalog and a textbook management application. Blender is compatible
with multiple content formats including original content, District curriculum and licensed publisher content.
Communities are the collaborative spaces combining content from the CMS, discussion forums, surveys, and other social interactions. Communities are created and managed at all organizational levels, from classrooms to District levels. Fully customizable, they span subject and interest areas across an organization.
Watson Artificial Intelligence (AI)
As part of SRG Technology’s Gold Partnership with IBM, Blender Learn is supported by Watson Artificial Intelligence. With Watson AI content is automatically meta tagged, a Virtual Assistant can help prepare lesson plans, and Watson Discovery makes it easy to seek, find and vet new content from across the Internet.
Blender is compatible with the full Google suite used by Educators and Business people. Blender Learn is also able to organize and manage content that moves in and out of a Google environment.
IBM Cloud Hosting
Blender applications are backed by IBM Cloud Services. IBM provides maximum security for our applications and customer data, and an ease of management making Cloud Hosting safer and cost-friendly.
Tools for Every Instructor
Since Instructors spend at least 30% of their time in preparation for classes, Blender aims to ease that workload with improved access to content and curriculum and a robust set of tools for lesson planning, course creation and management, communication with students and collaboration with peers. Professional Development is integrated with the teaching and learning cycles.
Live Classroom & Meeting
Virtual Learning has grown over the years, but the COVID-19 pandemic has made Live Classroom and Live Meeting household words. Every organization has its favorites — Zoom, Microsoft, Google, Webex and so on. Blender’s Learning Center and Communities integrate content and activity with all these technologies.
A Portfolio can be assigned to every user. It is a repository for artifacts created by the students of all ages to demonstrate completion of assignments, mastery of goals and standards. Artifacts can be tagged to specific goals and academic standards. The portfolio supports documents, links, text and audio/video entries. Portfolios are enabled with a feedback loop for grading and peer review.
Reports & Data Analytics
Educators and their organizations measure the teaching and learning process through outcomes. Our reports package can track outcomes, system usage, courses, resources, Professional Development and many other factors.
