The Individual Learner Profile (ILP) is an invaluable tool in promoting student agency and providing educators with unique insight about their students. ILPs place students at the apex of their own educational-making team. Students are able to take an active role in charting a personal education action plan that automatically allows their education stakeholders to contribute to their progress and success.
The Individual Learner Profile emphasizes the importance of personalizing education, recognizing diverse learning styles, tracking academic progress, and perhaps more importantly, supporting well-being and social emotional development.
